2SOULS, two souls like me and Sissi

The bag or crossbody bag and backpack was born in April 2019.

Since Sissi joined our family, I discover the wonder of long walks with her, in the city, in the mountains, at the sea, everywhere. I’ve seen sunrises and sunsets I would never have seen without her. When you have a special little being like them, you discover the wonders of life that you would never have lived. They teach you to walk enjoying every detail of everything around you. The scent of the seasons, because every season has its scent. Every time we go downtown, we discover together glimpses, corners, roads, city alleies that I would never have seen without her. The walks with them, that both in the city, in the countryside, at the sea or in the mountains, at the lake, everywhere, have a meaning that only them can make you discover it.

One thinks in taking his dog out for a walk. Instead, the dog takes us outside giving us the opportunity to experience the world around us and every moment in a special and deep way. Only them, with their special way of “walking”, “sniffing”, “observe” invite you to see so much beauty what your mind crowded with thoughts and your distracted eyes would not have made you notice.

Sissi, with her “move” in her life brought me a new balance. Since she’s been with me, I’ve realised that when we go out I must leave my thoughts at home. Sometimes I go out with my head full of thoughts of the day but, after a few steps, she takes me into her world dimension and her “walking” and everything moves away and opens a new world and new emotions.

I watch her while walking and sniffing and I enjoy imagining her thoughts and here that’s when lightness starts to take over. I feel so free that any object, such as wallet, house or car keys or mobile phone, bothers me.

I went out with my fanny pack to bring the minimum necessary for our outings but I realized that was not enough. I needed a bigger bag to hold her water bottle and her bowl, her favorite treats and her ball. I tried many bags or crossbody bag but none of them satisfied me. I wanted a bag or a crossbody bag, or even a backpack, all three in one.

I wanted something that could be what I needed for that particular situation. If I had gone out with the shoulder bag but at some point I wanted to take the bike the bag had to quickly turn into a backpack.

Thought and thought, between one fair and another, I discover the magical world of small parts and accessories for bags and backpacks. During my visit to a fair dedicated to the excellence of Italian fabrics, I discovered a unique rubberized fabric. During I attended Pitti fair in Florence it hit me of how I wanted my 2SOULS, not just a bag, not just a shoulder bag, not just a backpack, but three-in-one.

I still remember like today, it was a beautiful sunny day, I sat outside the fair and without thinking I drew the first sketch of what would be 2SOULS. It wasn’t easy to get what I wanted, but I did.

2SOULS would has been become the bag, shoulder bag, the backpack, depending on the situation that Sissi and I and anyone with his 4-legged friend would experience. I had had found the solution of how to quickly turn 2SOULS, from bag to crossbody bag and even to backpack!
